#24 Rams defeat Dallas Baptist 71-57

San Angelo, Texas -  After a slow start to the game for both Angelo State and Dallas Baptist, the Rams defeated their LSC foe 71-57  for the first victory against them in four tries. The Rams led by one at the half but outscored the Patriots 40-27 in the second half to pull away for the win. Devaughn Thomas, the senior from New Orleans, and Kevon Godwin, the junior from Florida, led the Rams with 14 points each.

The Patriots were led in scoring by Cameron Kahn who scored 23 points. The Rams won despite shooting 42% from the field and 22% from three. ASU capitalized off of DBU's 23 turnovers scoring 25 points off of them. The Rams improved to 21-5 on the season and 17-3 in LSC play.

Angelo State remained behind only West Texas A&M in LSC standings after the Buffs defeated St. Mary's.
