Charlotte (Bargley) Lewis, 63, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Public viewing will be from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM Friday, April 14, 2023, at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Pastor Sankirk Bailey, officiating. Burial will follow at Belvedere Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lewis was born July 14, 1959, in San Angelo where she has been a lifelong resident. Charlotte graduated from Central High School in 1977. Charlotte married Roosevelt Lewis in 1979 in San Angelo. He preceded her in death on November 22, 2020. She worked for Levi Strauss in production, Barry's of San Angelo, and was a custodian at Good Fellow Air Force Base. Charlotte attended and was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church. She was very loving, kind-hearted, and soft-spoken. She loved being with family and friends.
Survivors include two sons, Edric Lewis and Bronshae Lewis both of San Angelo; her mother, Ophelia Bargley of San Angelo; three sisters, Janice Dupree of San Antonio, Sebrina A. Bargley, and Detra Felicia Anderson both of San Angelo; sister-in-law, Donna Renee Bargley, her two nieces, Tiffany Sophelia Bargley and Kimberly Yvette Jackson both of San Angelo; three great nieces, Toni Ray, Nelle Chanelle Woodruff, and Alexis Jackson; two great nephews, Tavyn Jevonte Woodruff, and Christopher Jackson; seven grandchildren, Jaedyn McKenzie Lewis, Georgia Patricia Marie Young, Edric Darrell Dupri Lewis, Devin Deon Capri, Cedric Tarell, Alize Janesha; seven great-grandchildren, Zuriel, Makenzii, Yzaia, Londyn, Elijah, Legend, Jaiden, and Aminah; and a host of other great nieces, nephews, and other family.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her father Curtiss Bargley; a sister, Linda Greenwood of San Angelo; two brothers, Marlon Joe Bargley, and Curtiss Eugene Bargley.
